The Road More Traveled… 2 Dual sports and a race track
Customers Jennifer and Ziyad (AKA Zip) have been riding GS’s together for years. From touring to minor dual sporting together they have enjoyed a lot of time and miles together.
Recently they decided to return to a love that has always been in the family; motorcycle racing. With this in mind, they have been known to take their beloved dual sports for a fun flogging at Thunder Hill Raceway in Willows CA.
So, how capable are these bikes on the track? Extremely – with additional ground clearance of the dual sport you have much more lean angle than most and can really rail through corners. Your biggest limitation is tires and dragging hard parts on the bike.
Jen was constantly grinding her side stand in turn 10, while Zip worked on hanging off the bike in order to carry more corner speed.
“These bikes are a blast on the track!” says Zip, “Sure, they are not the fastest thing on 2 wheels, but what a gas to explore the versatility of these machines.” “It has really helped my street confidence on a bike I was already confident on.” Says Jen.
These 2 have defiantly taken the road more traveled….
